On behalf of the client, we are looking for Senior Bridge Engineer to work in Abu Dhabi office of the company.Description of Works: Sheikh Zayed Bridge for Abu Dhabi Island, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. Construction of a 912m long bridge linking Abu Dhabi with the mainland with a central span of 234m. The main bridge is a hybrid structure consisting of central steel asymmetric arch ribs supporting pre-stressed concrete box girder decks. At the two main channel piers, the decks are supported by inclined pre-stressed concrete supports, rising vertically from the pier pile caps. The foundation comprises large diameter bored in situ piles. The project also includes construction of 1.3 k.m of dual carriageway. Roles and Responsibilities: This post calls for a Senior Bridge Construction Engineer at Construction Manager level with experience in concrete bridges (cast in situ concrete) preferably above sea or river. The suitable candidate will be ensuring that construction works are executed according to the specifications of various sections of the bridge, coordinating the erection teams and equipment, planning and monitoring progress of works and be drafting daily site reports. Experience in heavy lifting will be an advantage. Requirements: University degree Work experience in concrete bridges (cast in situ concrete) preferably above sea or river. Experience in heavy lifting will be an advantage. Total work experience of 10-15 years.
