| Education: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (University degree) Experience: Minimum 8-10 years experience in the energy sector and particularly, in Power Transmission and Distribution with minimum 3-5 years experience as Network Planning engineer or similar. Required competencies: Working with Master plan of electrical distribution network; Zonal substation design and reconfiguration of network; Power system studies for Load flow, short circuit, motor starting, transient stability analysis, Harmonic analysis; Distribution Management System (DMS); Preparation of tender documents, bid evaluation and recommendations; Preparation of Single Line Diagrams, Layouts, protection and control Schematics; Preparation of technical specification & datasheet; Equipment sizing and calculations for Switchgear, transformer, cable etc. Optional: (advantage) Shop inspection and FAT for electrical equipments; Requested skills: ETAP, CYME – For load-flow, short-circuit, motor starting, harmonic analysis, transient stability studies and relay coordination studies; Working knowledge of Micro station and Autocad 2000; Familiarisation with IEC, ANSI and IEEE standards. Language: English should be perfect in speaking, writing and reading. Other European Languages, like German, French are of advantage. Other skills: Available for frequent business trip in the MENA (Middle-East and North Africa) region or outside; Flexible attitude, Team-oriented and multi-cultural.
